Speaks Clam Bar – Restaurant Manager Job Description

We are looking for Managers to join the Team, to help us provide amazing food, Prohibition style cocktails, and exemplary service to our Guests who are treated like family.
Restaurant Manager Position Summary
Works “Hands On” alongside Restaurant Managers, Bar Managers, Kitchen Managers, Staff, and General Manager. Restaurant Manager actively recruits, selects, and trains new Team Members. The Restaurant Manager provides consistent staff leadership to ensure our Guests are enjoying an excellent dining experience. The Manager is responsible for day-to-day Operations and Management of Speaks Clam Bar. They work closely with the Kitchen Managers planning, and executing excellent food quality.
· Completes documentation prior to new Employees joining the Team
· Continually complies with Company wage schedules
· “Hands On” Leadership, and Training for Front of the House employees
· Schedules Appraisals and Reviews for hourly Employees
· Regularly gives appropriate Team Member recognition
· Maintains 2-way communication flow with the Back of the House Management Team
· Constantly demonstrates high levels of professionalism, models honesty, integrity, and trust
· Oversee that all opening and closing duties are completed correctly
· Oversee cleanliness and maintenance as required
· Responsible for the Daily paperwork, deposits, and correct operation of the POS system
· Responsible for balancing opening, mid, and closing drawers, and safe counts
· Ensure that we provide exemplary food and beverage to our Guests
· Ensure we continually provide exemplary service to our Guests
· Handle Guest complaints according to provided guidelines
· Enforces and monitors all health, safety, and sanitation standards
Education and/or Experience Requirements
· 4+ years of restaurant experience
· Excellent Guest service and interpersonal skills
· Organized and capable of multi-tasking with attention to detail
· Proficient computer skills, Microsoft Word and Excel, experienced with POS systems
· Ability to take inventories and tabulate results
· High standards in regards to personal hygiene and appearance
· Skills and analytical ability to Plan, Organize, and Execute
· Ability to create positive financial results
· Ability to be on their feet for several hours at a time
· Possess and maintain a current valid driver’s license
· Possess and maintain a current Serve Safe Management Card
· Work irregular hours in exterior and interior conditions
