SUMMARY: Responsible for assisting the Manager, Petroleum Terminal with managing and overseeing activities relating to operations, fuel deliveries, sales, marketing, customer service, and equipment maintenance for a specific region.
GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES: Focus on day to day operations and safe execution of activities under the direction of the Terminal Manager. Ensure safe, reliable execution of activities that are in compliance with all regulatory and company standards. Manage and oversee employee's performance. Manage operational excellence on a day-to-day basis.
Qualifications
EDUCATION: Associate's Degree. Bachelor's degree preferred.Direct business experience may be substituted for degree.
EXPERIENCE: 3 or more years general business experience, preferably relating to fuel sales and deliveries. Supervisory experience preferred.
TECHNICAL PROFICIENCY: Proficient in Microsoft Office products, including Excel, Outlook, and Word. Advanced PC skills needed. Quick decision-making and problem-solving abilities, Strong attention to detail and able to multitask.
COMPETENCIES: Ability to demonstrate effective communication skills.Ability to provide direction to staff and oversee projects that may vary in nature and scope.
OTHER: CDL and/or commercial driving experience preferred.
JOB SCOPE: Position impacts multiple business units/segments.
WORKING CONDITIONS: Works both inside an office environment and also outside in conditions of both high and low temperatures. May be exposed to odors, dust, dirt, mechanical hazards, high noise levels and potentially dangerous equipment. Must be able to crouch and stoop to get into areas with restricted headroom and be able to climb ladders. May require extended use of computer keyboard and viewing of computer monitor and ability to sit for long periods of time.
