Your initial responsibility as an Assistant Manager will be to complete our dynamic and comprehensive Manager in Training Program which includes kitchen training and front-of-house training. Our program will ensure that you are prepared to manage all facets of the restaurant to which you are eventually assigned. You will learn how to oversee all areas of your restaurant while serving as a role model for your staff.
Key responsibilities of the Assistant Manager role include: *Ensuring exceptional guest service and addressing customer concerns quickly and professionally if they arise*Building and driving restaurant sales*Interviewing, hiring, and training employees*Developing your team members and fostering a team-oriented working environment*Coaching and counseling employees; taking appropriate corrective actions when needed*Working any and all work stations, whether front-of-house or in the kitchen*Maintaining reports and records based on company standards and in full compliance with state and federal regulations, including food safety, product, and facility specs.
Job Requirements The ideal candidate for our Assistant Manager role will meet the following requirements:*Local candidates preferred*High School Diploma or equivalent certification required; Bachelor’s Degree a plus*2 or more years of restaurant management experience*Excellent verbal and written communication skills*Previous responsibility for financial performance and ability to read profit and loss statements*Proven ability to drive sales through creative marketing efforts*Demonstrated track record of coaching and developing employees in a team-based environment*Proven ability to drive guest satisfaction through customer-based metrics*Excellent planning, organizing and follow-up skills*Strong decision making and conflict resolution skills*Intermediate computer skills*Experience with high-volume sales and full bar a plus!
