Assistant Manager

Smart Living on Cullen, located at 13555 Cullen Blvd, is seeking an eager Assistant Manager.

Starting pay is $23.00 per hour.
The first weekend of every month is required.
Occasional after-hours work or other weekend work may be needed for resident events or emergencies.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 1 year of previous assistant property manager experience.
• Strong Yardi experience is preferred but previous experience with another property management software is applicable.
• Valid Driver's license
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Skilled in time management and critical thinking
• Understanding of Fair Housing laws

Responsibilities

Income Collection

• Update daily all rents, deposits, and application fees received from residents. Issue appropriate notices when necessary (e.g., late payments, eviction notices, returned check memos).
• Actively pursue recovery of delinquent monies in accordance with state and local laws.
• Ensure proper handling and scheduling of evictions and skipped units.

Resident Relations

• Provide quality customer service to all prospective and existing residents.
• Inspect move-outs and vacancies when requested.
• Attend resident retention activities as required.

Marketing

• Must be knowledgeable of all phases of leasing and resident retention.
• Work with lease renewals each month.
