Assistant Manager

```Job Overview:

SupportMing the Store Manager in all facets of store operations including ensuring that the store staff provides friendly, open and enthusiastic customer service, in person and on the phone. This includes answering questions and assisting with product selection, purchases, and returns. Ensure that the store is clean, well-organized, and properly merchandised at all times, and that all policies, procedures, and controls are followed. Supervise up to 5 or more Game Advisors by planning, organizing, and delegating work.

Duties:
- Assist the store manager in overseeing all aspects of store operations
- Manage inventory control, including receiving, stocking, and organizing merchandise
- Handle cash transactions and ensure accurate cash handling procedures
- Provide excellent customer service by assisting customers with inquiries, resolving complaints, and ensuring a positive shopping experience
- Assist in training and developing team members to deliver outstanding performance
- Monitor and maintain store cleanliness and visual merchandising standards
- Collaborate with the store manager to implement sales strategies and achieve sales targets
- Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures

Experience:
- Previous experience as an Assistant Manager or similar role in a retail environment
- Strong knowledge of inventory control and stock management
- Proficient in cash handling procedures and point-of-sale (POS) systems
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
- Solid understanding of retail management principles and practices
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.28 - $20.00 per hour
