Assistant Manager

### Responsibilities:

- Assist the Manager in overseeing daily operations and ensuring smooth functioning of the organization
- Supervise and train staff members to ensure high-quality performance and adherence to company policies and procedures
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing customer inquiries, resolving complaints, and ensuring customer satisfaction
- Assist in managing inventory levels, including ordering and receiving merchandise
- Handle cash transactions accurately and responsibly, including opening and closing registers
- Monitor employee productivity and provide feedback for improvement
- Assist in recruiting, hiring, and training new employees
- Collaborate with the Manager to develop strategies for achieving sales goals
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations

### Experience:

- Previous experience in a supervisory or managerial role is preferred
- Strong team management skills with the ability to motivate and inspire others
- Proficient in cash handling procedures and possess strong mathematical skills
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Knowledge of inventory management practices
- Familiarity with payroll processes and procedures
- Experience in recruiting and onboarding new employees

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.50 - $19.50 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 40 per week
