Well established Property Management Company seeking a full-time experienced Assistant Manager/Office Administration position for a 185-unit Tax Credit/Section 8 residential building in Los Angeles.
The successful candidate must have the following skills and/or experience:
- Collecting, reviewing, and posting vendor and utility bills
· Schedule vendors for unit maintenances - utilities, pest control, etc.
· Collect rents, input into software, make deposits
· Run receivable reports, audit tenant ledgers, reviewing credits and money owed, etc.
· Post late fees, create 3-Day notices and 10-day notices for delinquent rents
· Update Waiting List on a daily/weekly basis
· Assist tenants with resolving various issues
· Prepare notices for tenants about building inspections
· Assist prospects with background checks, applications, and interviewing process
· Correspond with tenants about memos and lease violations
· Send files to collections and legal for evictions
· Process Unit transfers
· Track and maintain Tenant Repayment Agreements
· Show vacant units to applicants and move out inspections
· Competent with numbers and calculations
· Assist with Annual Inspections
· Answer phones, filing, data entry and typing correspondence
· Assist Property Manager as needed
· Attention to detail, able to multitask, flexibility
· Resourceful in looking for answers and solutions
· Ability to work effectively and collaboratively in a team environment as well as independently
· High level of organization, communication and writing skills
· Must be proficient in Microsoft Office – Outlook, Excel, & Word
· Pluses – Property Management, Yardi, Bookkeeping, HUD, Tax Credit, Recertifications, Interims
Compensation will be contingent upon experience. Long term stability for the right individual.
