Assistant Manager

Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to join our team as an Assistant Manager. The position entails assisting the Manager in the overall management of the credit union and assume all accountability for the Credit Union in the Manager's absence. This includes instituting new programs or products and evaluating products and services. The position requires wearing many hats. You must be able to work between the Hours of 8:00 am and 6:30pm on weekdays and 8:30am-12:30pm on Saturdays.

This position acts as the Compliance Officer for the Bank Secrecy Act and Safe Act. This will include training the Staff, processing CTRS and SARS and reviewing transactions/reports. This position is also responsible for keeping all credit union policies up to date.

A background in consumer lending and/or mortgages would be a big plus.

Other Responsibilities Include:

• The daily opening and/or closing of the branch.
• Assisting loan officers in consumer loan decisions.
• Handle the marketing and donation requests for the credit union.
• Oversee the teller area and must be able to run a cash drawer as needed.
• Insure the office is adequately staffed at all times.
• Responsible for ongoing training for the tellers and help with the yearly reviews.
• Administer the Certificate of Deposit/IRA program.
• Attend Monthly Board Meetings.
• Work with auditors to ensure compliance.
• Additional duties assigned as needed.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $58,000.00 - $62,000.00 per year
