Lewis Apartment Communities, a division of one of the largest privately owned Real Estate developers and Property Managers in the nation, currently seeks an experiencedAssistant Maintenance Supervisor for a full-time position at Homecoming at Terra Vista, a busy and beautiful 850+homeLewis-owned apartment community in Rancho Cucamonga, CA.
To be successful, you should have previous apartment/residential maintenance experience.
More about your new Career: Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, you will assist in the supervision of staff and operations at this exciting community. To be a top candidate you should have some prior staff supervision background, along with:
- Strong all-around residential maintenance skills in the apartment/residential industry
- Experience in carpentry, electrical, HVAC, plumbing, painting, and appliance (dishwashers, washers, stoves, etc.) installation and repair
- HVAC Certification is a big plus
Your new duties would include:
- Assisting in the management of Maintenance Technician & Grounds-keeping staff
- Making ready units for new occupancy
- Interaction with General Manager and staff
- Walking property with general manager
- Maintaining units of current residents
- Managing/negotiating with outside vendors
- Maintaining the leasing office and all recreation facilities
Other requirements include:
- Moving and transporting heavy objects, as needed
- Bending/stooping/walking repeatedly over time and throughout your community.
- Ascend/descend stairs and ladders as required.
- Ability to exchange information and communicate with Company employees and the general public by speaking/reading/writing English.
Note: Days off are Sun/Mon.
