Assistant Lecturer/Assistant Teaching Professor (non-tenure-track) position starting for the fall 2024 semester. This position will provide quality teaching primarily in “Introduction to Financial Accounting” at the undergraduate level; advise students; and provide service to the profession and university.

The Department of Accountancy currently has approximately 150 graduates per year, and consists of 16 tenured/tenure-track faculty, three Teaching Professors/lecturers, two part-time instructors, and four staff members. The Department values high-quality teaching and research. The Farmer School of Business has approximately 1,200 graduates per year. Minimum Qualifications:

Required: Doctorate in Accounting or closely related field by date of appointment for rank of Assistant Teaching Professor. Master’s degree in Accounting or closely related field by date of appointment for rank of Assistant Lecturer.

Desired Qualifications:

Consideration may be given to candidates with demonstrated quality collegiate teaching experience, and experience teaching accounting content.
