PRIMARY PURPOSE:

As an Assistant Housekeeper, you will set the stage for guest experience with your welcoming smile and service. By understanding their unique stories and needs, you will own their experience to create WOW moments and memories they will carry with them far beyond their stay with us.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Supervise Housekeeping employees and Floor Supervisors to ensure that they adhere to and enforce company and Housekeeping policies, being alert to their duties
• Inspect five (5) rooms or more in written form and 20 visual inspections daily to ensure that Floor Supervisors and GRA’s are conforming to the sanitation requirements of health laws and standards
• Coordinate and conduct performance appraisals of Housekeeping employees in accordance with company guidelines
• Maintain records, including repair needs, lost and found items, and quality of work done by employees • Complete the daily summary
• Instruct employees and new hires on the products used for cleaning in accordance with OSHA chemical Right To Know standards
• Coordinate turn-down services and other special requests made by VIP Services and VIP guests
• Perform other job-related duties as requested

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Two (2) years of related experience as a Guest Room Attenda
• Work varied shifts, to include weekends and holidays

PREFERRED:

• One (1) year of housekeeping supervisory experience in a large hotel & casino and or other industry, preferably in rooms
• Bilingual
• Experience in a similar resort setting
