Assistant Grower

Responsibilities:
- Cultivate and care for plants in a greenhouse or outdoor setting
- Monitor plant growth and health, making adjustments as needed
- Water, fertilize, and prune plants to ensure optimal growth
- Implement pest control measures to protect plants from diseases and pests
- Maintain accurate records of plant growth, including data collection and analysis
- Operate and maintain irrigation systems to ensure proper watering of plants
- Perform heavy lifting tasks as required for plant maintenance and relocation
- Collaborate with a team to coordinate planting schedules and tasks
- Ensure compliance with all safety protocols and regulations

Experience:
- Previous experience in a similar role, working with hydroponic equipment at a cultivation facility
- Knowledge of dosatron and aroya systems and plant care techniques
- Basic math skills for measuring and mixing fertilizers and other materials
- Mechanical knowledge for operating and maintaining equipment used in plant cultivation

Skills:
- Ability to work in a physically demanding environment, including heavy lifting and standing for long periods of time
- Strong attention to detail to monitor plant health and identify potential issues
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate with team members and follow instructions

Pay: Up to $35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 32 – 40 per week
