Overview
Major Duties:
- Assist the Group Leader and Activity Instructors with activities, including sports, movement, and recreation, educational activities and arts and craft in person and virtually.
- Collaborate with Group leader to ensure a safe and supportive environment.
- Collect attendance folder and other data.
- Work with After School Program Director, Group Leader, or other designated Supervisor in carrying out special activities of the program.
- Assist with monitoring and maintaining the rules of the program.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED preferred.
- Prior experience working with children strongly preferred.
- Must demonstrate reliable and consistent work habits, and ability to work with peers and participants.
- Demonstrated verbal, organization, and prioritization skills.
- Capability to transition easily between working independently with a high degree of self-initiative and working as part of a team.
- Complete required DOE & DOH clearances.
