Job Description:
Customer Service Representative: The manager is expected to oversee day-to- day operations of Coddled Critters Pet Resort and Spaw, ensuring a first rate experience for our clients and their pets. Applicants will have the opportunity to build relationships with clientele and serve as a point-person for assisting clients, answering questions, and meeting the needs of both owners and their dogs.
Employee Management: The manager is also responsible for supervising a full staff of animal care specialists, animal care managers, groomers and kennel techs, which includes enforcing and overseeing facility policies regarding playgroup management and ensuring that the day-to-day operations of Coddled Critters Pet Resort and Spaw run smoothly and efficiently. Managers are expected to have the confidence and competence to make decisions on operational logistics, pet care, supply management, staffing and labor practices, cleanliness and maintenance, reservations and occupancy, and overall client satisfaction.
Responsibilities Include:
- Oversee staff to ensure proper execution of task schedules related to meals, Medication, potty times, maintenance, and cleaning.
- Ensure that the team provides clients with attentive, courteous, and informative service, including providing feedback on pets' playtime and stay at Coddled Critters Pet Resort and Spaw.
- Train, coach, mentor, develop and discipline team members to guarantee level of knowledge and ability to provide proper services and maintain a safe playgroup environment (e.g. train staff on basic dog behavior and body language, proper walking and greeting techniques, and effectively managing different temperaments). This includes regularly reviewing staff performance and leading by example.
- Demonstrate a personal interest in all pets and owners
- Effectively construct and disseminate weekly staff schedule. You will be on call and expected to address all staffing issues.
- Manage and organize boarding availability and logistics
- Manage and organize supply ordering and inventory control

- Skilled in conflict management and resolution Ability to carry out written and verbal instructions

Qualifications

- must be able to stand on feet for long periods of time

- must be able to handle all size, temperaments and breeds of dogs
