West Central Georgia Regional Hospital (Columbus, Ga) is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Psychologist 2 -Assistant Forensic Director.
Job Responsibilities:
• Assists in the administrative oversight of 4 inpatient forensic psychiatric units totaling 154 beds
• Supervises assigned inpatient clinical staff
• Assists the Forensic Director in diplomatically interfacing with the judicial system in the areas we serve through written and verbal communication
• Serves as immediate back up to the Forensic Director
• May also be required to complete forensic psychological evaluations and perform the work of a unit psychologist, as needed.

Qualifications:
Doctorate degree in clinical or counseling psychology from an American Psychological Association (APA) accredited college or university AND current Georgia license to practice psychology AND One year of experience at the lower level Psychologist 1 (HCP140) or equivalent. Note: License may be temporary, provisional, or permanent.
