We have been ranked No. 1 among U.S. engineering colleges by the U.S. News & World Report's 2022 Best Colleges Guide for over 20 years.

As an Assistant Football Coach/Offensive Coordinator you will coach student-athletes, coordinate all playbook and game planning operations, while keeping offensive staff on task with weekly and annual schedules. Under the direction of the head coach, you will assist with team and player development and training; contribute ideas and input for practices. You will lead and demonstrate practices in the absence of the head coach; may have specific positional coordination responsibilities and supervise other coaches. You will evaluate athlete performances and make recommendations and/or decisions regarding participation in competitions.
As Assistant Football Coach/Offensive Coordinator you will be responsible for compliance with NCAA and HCAC rules operating within Institute and Sports specific policies. You will work in collaboration with the trainers and other staff (equipment, sports information, facilities) assigned to the team. You will identify, evaluate, and assist with the ongoing recruitment of prospective athletes; recruitment responsibilities may be off campus, including home visits, and assist with on-campus visits (National or International). You will participate in scheduling, planning, and travel arrangements, which may include traveling to away competition.

You will support team and players to thrive academically, while integrating athletes to Institute and department services. You will communicate with alumni and friends of the program and assist with fundraising for the program.
Qualified candidates will hold a bachelor's degree and one to two years experience at the collegiate or professional level.
Preferred candidates will have a master's degree, college coaching experience, and demonstrated ability to recruit academically oriented student-athletes.
As a Rose-Hulman employee, you will enjoy access to full-service fitness facilities and programming; a performing arts center featuring national touring acts and campus productions; and access to state-of-the-art labs, facilities, and equipment. All employees experience opportunities to have an impact on student lives and be part of a greater purpose through multidisciplinary project collaboration that can have a global impact as well as receiving continual encouragement and support of philanthropic and volunteer opportunities.
