Assistant Fleet Manager & Yard Admin

Job Summary:

The Fleet Admin & Asset Manager will be responsible for supporting the Fleet team, Project Manager and Storm Team coordinating administrative work in the yard and field for daily and storm work.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

None.

Duties/Responsibilities:

Assists in preparation and coordination of all storm events.

Supports Fleet Team, Project Managers and field operations.

Administrative support for field operations, timesheets, rosters and submitting forms to the Utility Companies.

Communicate effectively and persistently relay information between Project Managers, field operations and within the team.

Identify process improvements.

Learning and utilizing project management methodology.

Assisting the team in upholding safety and quality management standards and protocols.

Assist in project completion and close-out.

Assist in coordinating and scheduling company and subcontractor resources.

Develop information for customers and business development.

Other duties as assigned by supervisor or management.

Fleet Expereince Preferred

Requirements

Required Skills/Abilities:

Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.

Physical Requirements:

Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.

Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds at times.

CDL preferred
