SUMMARY

BACKGROUND

Finance department is seeking an organized and motivated individual to provide general administrative support, primarily to the Finance-Licensing team and for the rest of the Finance group, as needed.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Track royalty reports submitted by NHL's consumer product licensees
  • Monitor bank accounts daily and record payments received in multiple currencies
  • Reconcile royalties reported and cash received
  • Correspond with licensees regarding outstanding royalty reports
  • Maintain electronic copies of statements and payments received
  • Prepare documents needed for financial statement audits
  • Assist Managers with preparation of sales schedule and corresponding charitable payments to NHL Foundation
  • Support other administrative assistants in Finance department, as needed
  • Other departmental related duties and ad hoc analyses as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS
  • Ideal candidate will have the ability to work both as a member of a team and independently
  • Self-motivated individual with the ability to handle multiple tasks
  • Must be organized, detail oriented, and have the ability to prioritize tasks
  • Computer skills: Strong Microsoft Excel and Word skills are essential
  • Experience with royalties, RightsLogic, or LicensingX are a plus
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree and two years of experience as an assistant.

SALARY RANGE:
$55-60K
Actual base pay for a successful candidate will be determined based on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to: experience/training, market demands, and geographic location.
