Responsibilities:
- 30-40 hours per week with a base hourly rate and commission percentage of salon services
- Perform grooming services to neighbors’ expectations and breed standards
- Prepare daily paperwork and scheduling in absence of the Groom Leader
- Ensure salon is following safety and company procedures
- Assist in pre-screening and interviews of candidates
- Balance time between grooming and management duties
- Assist with neighbor concerns
- Assist with monthly salon deep cleanings, which are on one Sunday per month
Qualifications:
- Be a graduate of a grooming school or have 2 years of PROFESSIONAL grooming experience
- Be proficient in all breed standard haircuts
- Must have your own set of professional grooming tools
- Be able to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends and some holidays
- Be able to move, lift up to 50 pounds, and stand for long periods of time
