Dispatchers for our growing, expanding company with a focus on package delivery are in demand. The ideal candidate for this position has prior experience in the transportation industry and will be responsible for all aspects of customer service and support including, but not limited to answering calls and responding to emails from customers, tracking packages and reporting on their status, ensuring that packages arrive on time and resolving any issues related to shipping.
Responsibilities:
- Issue orders to the drivers through a radio, computer or phone.
- Receive and respond to complaints from customers.
- Manage customer expectations.
- Input customer data into a computer system.
- Communicate with dispatchers at other locations.
- Receive and respond to customer inquiries.
- Enter customer information into a computer database manually or automatically.
- Monitor customers' accounts and address customer issues through calls, letters, or e-mails.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.50 - $19.00 per hour
Expected hours: 33 – 38 per week
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
