Description:
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in student affairs or related field along with 3 to 5 years relevant experience or equivalent combination
- Knowledge of the first-year experience, college transition, transfer student experience, and college student development
- Experience supervising and/or advising students
- Experience planning campus wide undergraduate orientation, as well as planning and implementing large-scale, inclusive, collaborative programs
- Willingness to work in a team oriented and collaborative environment
- Experience in and/or demonstrated commitment to supporting diversity, equity, access, inclusion, and wellbeing.
- Demonstrated skill in understanding of cultural differences.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Master’s degree in student affairs or related field
- One year of post-graduate experience in student affairs or a related field.
- More than two years of direct student supervision and/or student development experience
- Experience with higher education module (online orientation) software and systems including; ADG, Slate, Campus Groups
- Affiliation/Involvement with professional associations such as NODA – Association for Orientation,
- Transition, and Retention in Higher Education
