Our best candidate will also be compassionate toward our residents and staff, professional on every level, dedicated to enhancing the lives or our seniors and our nursing staff and ready to become enchanted with our team! This position works closely with our DON and is responsible for monitoring nursing staff,nursing activities, and patient care, as well as ensuring nursing procedures and policies are in compliance with federal, state, and local standards.
A successful ADON is knowledgeable (but not a know-it-all), professional (but can have fun), dedicated (but has a life outside) and must sing karaoke! Just kidding! We're looking for someone dedicated to our residents and a great support for our staff and Director of Nursing.
Responsibilities include:
Managing clinical operations and auditing resident'scare plans.
Communicating with schedulers and monitoring dailystaffing.
Ensuring nursing staff follows departmental proceduresand policies.
Conducting patient rounds and addressing complaints.
Evaluating the performance of the department andrecommending improvements.
Scheduling staff meetings for patient updates, issues,and recommendations.
Ensuring compliance with state, federal, and localstandards.
Keeping patient and employee records updated andaccurate.
Conduct QAPI projects and demonstrate strong leadershipin investigating of incidents/accidents promoting safety of the residents
Our best applicant will have:
- Current RN license in Washington State
- At least one year of Nursing Experience
- Current CPR training and card
- Compassionate, kind and positive approach to care
- Ability to work well with others and contribute to an overall atmosphere of team spirit
