We are currently seeking a dedicated Assistant Director of Nursing to join our fast-paced, surgical center in Hillsborough, NJ. This is a Monday through Friday position. A comprehensive benefits package is available after 90 days of employment.
Position Overview:
The assistant DON is responsible for the daily clinical care and efficient flow of patients through the endoscopy experience at the center. They are responsible for the daily schedule and proper staffing of clinical employees, will assist management in their recruitment, hiring and evaluation; and ensure their compliance with clinical policies and procedures, competencies and up-to-date training as needed. They will act as the alternate administrator and assist in overseeing the daily operations of the center and work to ensure its financial success. They will be responsible for the front office operations including scheduling, patient registration, proper billing of insurance plans and transmission of data to the external billing company. They are responsible for the general oversight of the clinical setting which is managed by the DON/administrator. They will work along with the DON/administrator to oversee all financial aspects of the center including purchasing and payroll, adherence to budgets, review of monthly financial data and ensure that all policies are followed. They will be a member of the Executive Committee, Risk Management, Infection Control, and Safety Committees. The Assistant Director of Nursing plays an integral part in ensuring that the highest possible level of patient care is offered.

Requirements:
· BS or equivalent college degree
· NJ RN license
· ACLS and BLS certified
· Familiarity with state, Medicare, and AAAHC accreditation requirements preferred.
· Pre-employment physical
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills
· Strong organizational and analytical skills
· Computer literate, familiar with all Microsoft office products
