LOCATION: 400 S. State Street – Harold Washington Library Center - Material Movement
DAYS OFF: Saturday and Sunday; but may be required to work some evenings and weekends.
SHIFT: Monday – Friday
HOURS: 35 hours per week to be scheduled during normal unit hours
THIS POSITION IS EXEMPT FROM THE CAREER SERVICE
Graduation from an accredited college or university with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, Construction Management, Building Systems or a directly related field, plus three (3) years of work experience in the administration of maintenance and repair services for physical facilities of which one (1) year is in a supervisory role related to the responsibilities of the position, or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.

SELECTION REQUIREMENTS
This position requires applicants to complete an interview. The interviewed candidate(s) possessing the qualifications best suited to fulfill the responsibilities of the position will be selected.
Preference will be given to candidates possessing the following:
- Experience in facilities, logistics, project management
- People management experience
- Experience in Library construction and maintenance projects is a plus
- Logistics experience for a large facility/warehouse or library
- Previous experience operating and managing facilities across multiple locations
