Hours: Monday - Friday: 8:00am - 4:30pm

Position Purpose:
The Assistant Director of Admissions at Century Colleges serves as a lead within Admissions and the Testing Center providing leadership and direction for key initiatives and processes including research and assessment to support continuous improvement and workplans, internal and external communications and marketing of services, and operations such as staff scheduling and training. This position is a leader within the Student Affairs Division and helps lead college-wide student success and enrollment management activities through participation in college committees, work groups, and meetings, including the Student Affairs Unit Leaders Meeting. This position works effectively with Student Affairs offices, faculty, and academic departments to meet the goals and objectives of the office, division, and institution as well as participates in program and event development and serves on college committees.
Position Responsibilities: 
  • Lead, develop, implement, and manage communication plans to operationalize enrollment management communications from application through graduation in collaboration across college stakeholders.
  • Provide work direction and leadership to support operations of Admissions and Testing Center
  • Develop research methodologies, select, gather, and analyze appropriate data elements, and develop recommendations for enrollment management strategies to assist retention and success.
  • Directs prospective students, who have not yet applied to the College, in-person, phone, through email, and web-conference interviews for the purpose of promoting, informing, gaining commitment to apply and to encourage students to follow through with the application process to attend the college.
Required Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications: (expected to have to enter job)
  • Bachelor's Degree and minimum of three years of professional/related experience in student personnel, higher education, or related field.
  • Previous leadwork experience and/or demonstrated progressive work responsibilities.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Personal computing/technology skills; working knowledge of Microsoft Office software; experience with and comfort utilizing multiple types of technology.
  • Demonstrated ability to create and deliver communications plans and reports and to provide data.
  • Strategic planning experience and excellent organizational skills and demonstrated ability to plan, organize, and administer multiple activities and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with students, staff, and faculty with diverse perspectives and backgrounds and evidence of commitment to the success of culturally, ethnically, and racially diverse learners.
Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's Degree
  • Professional level experience working in admissions, financial aid, academic advising, or a relevant functional student affairs area.
  • CRM (Salesforce, Retain, or similar platform) experience.
  • Experience with project management.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and respond to multiple demands.
  • Experience working with and knowledge of International Student admissions processes.
