Assistant Custodial Director

Job Purpose:
The Assistant Custodial Director assists in supervising and managing EVS personnel in a 24-hour university environment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Experience and Requirements:
- 3+ years of supervisory experience in Custodial Management, preferably in institutional cleaning.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
Travel Requirements:
- Ability to travel to other cities within the United States using various transportation modes.
- Responsible for arranging travel logistics.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
- Manages Managers, Individual Contributors (Union, Non-Union), Supervisors, cleaners, and contract labor.
Physical Demands:
- Physically demanding role involving standing, bending, lifting (up to 50 lbs.), and navigating campus terrain.
- Regular exposure to computer screens.
Working Conditions:
- Operates on a university campus with exposure to waste, hazardous materials, outdoor weather conditions, stairs, and sidewalks.
- Work during days, evenings, and nights in various campus buildings and grounds.
