We are seeking a motivated and outgoing Administrative Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will provide support to our clients in crisis seeking mental health services. Will ensure all the information need to gain access to services is collected and clients are scheduled for therapy. Your responsibilities will include answering phone calls, scheduling appointments, planning meetings, and writing correspondence. The ideal candidate is highly organized with excellent written and verbal communication skills and a friendly demeanor.
Responsibilities
- Answer incoming phone calls and respond appropriately
- Schedule appointments and maintain a Center's calendar of clients
- Perform follow up calls to confirm appointments
- Organize meetings and take accurate minutes
- Write emails, memos, and letters and distribute them appropriately
- Maintain an organized electronic filing system of all clients
- Develop, update, and maintain relevant office procedures
- Associates/Bachelor's degree is preferred
- Bilingual skills a plus
- Previous experience a
- Previous customer services or crisis intervention experience
- Excellent computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint
- Highly organized with excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize projects
