Overview
GMA Construction Group of Texas (GMA) is currently seeking an Assistant Superintendent for a $30.5 million dollar project consisting of 80 apartments and townhomes in the historic southeast Fort Worth area.

Responsibilities
- Overall management of assigned project field operations
- Create and manage project schedule
- Coordination of subcontracts, drawings, and specifications
- Joint responsibility with the Project Manager in establishing budgets and controlling project cost
- Control waste
- Identify project risk, and work to mitigate it
- Communicate quality standards to each subcontractor and vendor
- Conduct systematic quality control inspections
- Follows company safety program, laws, and OSHA operating standards
- Manage and ensure job-site cleanliness
- Prepares daily time cards for personnel under your supervision
- Prepares daily logs
Qualifications
- Min. 6-8 yrs construction management experience preferred
- Construction management or engineering degree preferred
- Self-motivated
- Strong follow up skills
- Strong interpersonal skills in establishing productive working relationships with subcontractors and vendors
- Leadership skills
- Communication skills
- Decision making skills
- Ability to travel
