The Assistant Construction Manager supports one of the most crucial functions within our company. This position is responsible for assisting the Construction Manager in all aspects of the construction job from trench to move-in.

Essential Duties, Responsibilities, and Functions:

- Maintain clean and orderly job sites that are ready for trade partners, inspectors, & other visitors

- Perform on-site inspections of the trade partner’s work & hold them accountable for quality, safety, & cleanliness

- Assist with the supervision of trade partners from rough, finish, detail, and preparation for final orientation

- Complete onsite construction tasks as assigned to ensure project success

- Install and maintain job site and directional signage, jobsite cameras, and other site materials

- Purchase and deliver materials as needed to facilitate job progress.

- Interpret, understand, and follow construction drawings, and know when to ask questions to ensure successful and timely completion of projects

- Fill in for Construction Manager during short absences / vacations

Experience and Education:

- High School diploma or equivalent

- Experience in one or multiple trades desired

- Excellent written and oral communication and interpersonal relationship skills
