Assistant Cheer Coach - Hchs

This is considered an extra service position with a stipend and is not considered a full time position.
Henderson County High School is seeking an Assistant Cheer coach.
The position is responsible for assisting the head coach with the cheer program.
Must possess the following:

• Effective coaching techniques and skills;
• A thorough knowledge of the rules, regulations, strategies, and techniques of the sport; and
• The ability to establish & maintain effective working relationships with school administrators, parents, and students.

Must fulfill the assistant coaching requirements according to KHSAA Policy. Experience as a Cheer Coach at the high school level or college level preferred.
Education and Experience: Any combination equivalent to: high school diploma or G.E.D. Certificate; and passed the Kentucky Paraeducator Assessment OR completion of a minimum of sixty (60) semester hours of study at an institution of higher education OR an associate degree or higher.
Other Requirements: Physical, TB risk assessment, CAN check ($10), Drug screen ($20) & Criminal background check ($33.25).
