Assistant Buyer

Adecco is assisting a Fortune 500 client in recruiting for an Assistant Buyer in Honolulu, Hawaii.  This is a full-time temporary position in Honolulu, HI.

Assistant Buyer jobs require candidates to have excellent communication, organization, and must have accuracy and quality of work skills in a high-volume environment. If you meet the qualifications listed below – Apply Now!

Responsibilities for the Assistant Buyer include but are not limited to:

• Performing the administrative & operational functions supporting a designated buyers including purchase order management and administration as well as processing of markdowns including writing orders, changes, and cancellations

• Utilizing systems for preparation of various reports

• Following up with both internal and external parties to ensure key shipments are delivered and processed

• PO management (including: changes, forwarding confirmations to vendors, follow up, etc.)

• HIDC trouble shipments – contacting vendors for a resolution

• Samples – compiling a spreadsheet of prints/silhouettes to review

• Run ISR, OO and PDF Ladders Monday morning

• Best & Worst Recap Monday morning

• Markdowns on Monday morning (We key markdowns every week; aligned with corp MD calendar by area)

• Smoothing

• Follow up on routing/shipping and weekly balance cancels

• Compiling comp shopping notes and pictures into PowerPoint

 

Candidates must meet the following requirements to be considered for an Assistant Buyer:

• College degree preferred

• 1-3 years of buying/procurement experience.

• Must be proficient in MS Office, especially in Excel (Pivot Tables, Lookups, etc.).

Pay Details: $25.00 per hour
