- MUST HAVE PRIOR COMMERCIAL BREWERY or COMMERCIAL MEADERY EXPERIENCE
- Work 9:30-3:30 Monday through Thursday, some days will go later, with option to be full time if employee is capable and performing at expectations
- This role will be 70% brewing/sanitizing/bottling and 30% order packing, bottle labeling
Tasks include but not limited to cleaning equipment maintaining clean sanitary environment
- Provide support to Mead maker in fermentations and mead making processes
- Ability to start fermentations, filter, monitor fermentations and test status
- Will be responsible for operating and maintaining equipment needed to manage yeast, monitor fermentation, and packaging alcohol in a variety of containers including kegs, cans and bottles
- Labeling bottles
- Cleaning - mopping, vacuuming, cleaning kegs, organizing materials
- Breaking down cardboard
- Capping bottles
- Lifting up to 60lbs - must be able to lift 60lb buckets of honey to help with fermentations
Qualifications:
- Prior experience assisting or running batches in a brewery or meadery
- MUST HAVE experience making alcohol in a commercial setting
- Be a self starter, identify things to do, cleaning, keg cleaning etc, to keep busy.
- Must have interest and passion for alcohol making
- Must be able to multi-task (we're a small business, there's lots to do!)
- Must be detail oriented, attention to detail is a must!
- Experience with home-brewing or mead making a plus!

Pay: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour
