Asset Protection Security/Reception Associate (Home Office - Plano, TX)
The Asset Protection Security/Reception Associateis the initial point of contactfor in-person associates, customers, vendors, and visitors to the Home Office location. This position provides customer service, monitors CCTV cameras, and serves as the primary point of contact for security assessment.
Primary Responsibilities:

• Works efficiently to provide reception responsibilities, controls access to facility, entry point security, screens entrants, and follows admittance process, maintains visitor log, creates associate/visitor badges, answers questions, provides direction, etc.
• Produces an atmosphere in which associates and visitors feel welcome and cared for, by communicating and behaving professionally and respectfully.
• Monitors the facility both internally and externally via CCTV Systems, entrances and exits to prevent unapproved or unlawful entry; controls environment, de-escalates as needed. Calmly and professionally directs those who cause a disturbance to leave the property.
• Manages the often competing demands of customer service and physical security.
• Knowledgeable of and adheres to Company policies; observes potential violations to safe work practices and assists others to follow safe work practice, and redirects behaviors through professional and courteous communications. Ensures that all property removal is conducted within policy requirements. Identifies vendor products may be carried by vendors or associates.
• Sets up barriers and directional signage as directed based on events or business needs
• Upholds confidentiality of sensitive associate or business related matters.
• May need to respond to emergency situations such as fire, medical emergency, bomb threat, or inclement weather and will follow Company process and procedure.. Protects evidence or scene of incident in the event of an accident, emergency or security investigation. Observes and reports incidents or suspicious activity to leadership, or public safety officers, based on circumstance.

Core Competencies & Accomplishments:

• Professional and Customer Service oriented verbal, non-verbal and written communication, highly organized
• 5+ years of related home/regional office reception/security experience
• Proficient use of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
• Prioritizes Customers, Takes Accountability, Works Collaboratively, Thinks Critically, Produces Results, Displays Integrity, Works effectively and efficiently
• Must be able to properly prioritize responsibilities and needs of the business, ssecurity, associates and visitors
• High School degree or equivalent work experience, technical or bachelor's degree preferred
• First Aid, CPR/AED Certifications preferred
