Overview: Manages the Asset Protection responsibilities within our Philadelphia Distribution Center including inventory shrink, investigations, and physical security. Trains employees on proper Asset Protection procedures and identification of common shrink indicators. Ensures compliance with Asset Protection policies and implements operational procedures to eliminate or mitigate shrink possibilities. Identifies and resolves internal theft investigations. Reports, records, and follows up on required inventories and audits and facilitates shrink action plans as appropriate. Manages all functions of Asset Protection Department, which consists of managing security vendor relations, overseeing new store physical security planning, alarm monitoring, CCTV monitoring/ maintenance and invoice payments. The Asset Protection Manager-Distribution Center & Operations position manages 2-4 direct reports, in addition to overseeing the third-party security guard service for all Distribution Centers within the company.

Responsibilities:

• Ensures Asset Protection policies and procedures are implemented and monitored by the management team at all company warehouses.
• Implements operational procedures intended to eliminate shrink possibilities (controls) and develops solutions with the Director of Omni-Channel Fulfillment.
• Develop and execute an LP Audit Program within the warehouse environment to ensure Physical Security, Asset Protection Awareness, OSHA regulations and Fire Safety standards are within company guidelines and to the highest industry standards. Assist in the development of action plans immediately following when deficiencies are identified.
• Train employees at all warehouse locations on Asset Protection and Physical Security procedures.
• Detect and resolve internal theft investigations within all warehouse locations.
• Partner with local and federal law enforcement agency to prosecute all known theft investigations whether internal or external in nature.
• Manage the third-party security guard account and ensure staffing needs are met daily.
• Develop and oversee the third-party security guard program which consist of physical security audits, employee bag/coat check inspections, periodic inspections of lockers and conduction of routine perimeter walks within the property/loading area.
• Utilize CCTV to closely monitor daily workflow to ensure all employees are performing all daily work responsibilities to set OSHA requirements.
• Lead all aspects of shrink awareness, access control, alarm system management, merchandise audit security programs, transportation, and seal control.
• Directly supervise 2-4 hourly Asset Protection Operations Specialist, whose key role is to support all operational needs within the Asset Protection Department from: scheduling in-store guard services, Alarm & CCTV system management, Invoice Payment, and New Store Physical Security Planning.

Qualifications:

• The ideal candidate would possess a bachelor’s degree (B. A.) from four-year College or university in Criminal Justice.
• 3+ years’ experience in Distribution Center, Ecommerce or Store Asset Protection management.
• The ideal candidate would have comprehensive knowledge for retail Asset Protection processes and procedures as demonstrated through the previous work and educational experience.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus

Licenses/Certification/Registration:

• Wicklander & Zulawski Basic & Advance Interview Certification required.

• Role is 100% onsite (remote work is unavailable for this position).
