We offer a hybrid 3-2 work schedule (three days in the office, two days of teleworking) to accommodate the need for flexibility.

Job Summary


This role can be filled at either the Asset Management Senior Analyst or Asset Management Specialist level (Operations).


The Asset Management Senior Analyst or Asset Management Specialist role supports the operations and/or the investment functions of Dominion’s Asset Management Group and will perform the following functions on a daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.


Specific responsibilities include:


  • Assists in maintaining an operations function to support the execution of multi-asset investment portfolios, including cash management, wire set-up, trade execution, portfolio reconciliations, and performance reporting

  • Maintains relationships and works with various parties including custodian banks, investment managers, fund administrators, and various groups within Dominion to provide information related to making investments, presentations to the Asset Management Committee, SEC, and other regulatory reporting

  • Defines and develop performance and operations metrics, reports, and analysis

  • Leads preparation, validation, and compilation of quarterly reporting for the group’s Asset Management Committee

  • Serves as primary liaison for group’s performance and risk management system vendor

  • Completes reconciliation of internal and external data and databases

  • Assesses current internal processes and standards and make recommendations for process improvements to gain operational efficiencies

  • Focuses on quality and accuracy

  • Crosses train and provide backup support across critical functions

  • Performs ad hoc requests

Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Experience


Senior Asset Management Analyst : 5+ years of directly related experience (Note: a Master’s degree will count as one year of experience. A partial year of six month or more will be rounded to one year)


Asset Management Specialist : 7+ years of directly related experience (Note: a Master’s degree will count as one year of experience. A partial year of six month or more will be rounded to one year)


Specific knowledge, skills, abilities, and experience include:


  • Exposure to traditional and alternative investment strategies

  • Ability to conceptualize and drive initiatives that are critical to group’s success

  • Excellent leadership, interpersonal, communication, and analytical skills

  • Ability to work under limited supervision and direction

  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to effectively handle concurrent projects, meet deadlines and consistently produce high quality work

  • Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint and an aptitude for continuous learning

  • Performs routine work assignments but will demonstrate ability to perform more difficult work assignments over time

  • Works under established policies and procedures to meet set schedules and system or program requirements

  • Demonstrated intellectual curiosity, emotional intelligence, and ability to reach a higher level of proficiency and work complexity

  • Deep commitment to a culture of excellence

  • Experience with Caissa a plus.

  • Military service members and veterans with ranks from E5-E9, W1-CW5, or O3-O6, plus appropriate equivalent combination of education and years of experience are encouraged to apply.

Education Requirements


Degree or an equivalent combination of education and demonstrated related experience may be accepted in lieu of preferred level of education: Bachelor's or Master's


Preferred disciplines: Finance, Accounting, Business


Licenses, Certifications, or Quals Description


CPA, CFA or equivalent preferred
