What You'll Do
Be the point of contact for technical issues relating to emotes animation including: files crashing, prop and constraint setup and troubleshooting, animation montages, in game bugs, technical fix requests from other departments. Should attempt to resolve when possible, or delegate to the appropriate party. Maintain data tables, data assets, and animation montages that allow for implementation of emote and gameplay animation

What You'll Do

In this role, you will
- Work with a large team of animators both internal and outsource vendor teams to implement, maintain, modify, and troubleshoot animation files
- Be the technical contact to identify and resolve all problems for departments that give inventory to or receive inventory from Animation; these include FX, Sound, Modelling, Rigging, Art, Engineering, Tech Animation
- Take animations and implement in the game by creating montages, hooking up to data assets, and testing in game
What we're looking for
- A strong animation reel showing expertise in key-framed character and creature animation.
- Relevant experience in Unreal Engine 5 art pipeline and gameplay systems with good instincts for realistic and stylized motions.
- Experience shipping at least one title.
- Experience with scripting and tools is a plus and a working knowledge of version control - Perforce preferred
- Comfortable documenting, explaining, and teaching processes to others: Excellent interpersonal skills, must possess ability to help Animators at their computers with technical issues; serve as technical interface between departments
