Assembly Worker

Monday - Friday

First Shift 6:30am-3:30pm

Duties/Responsibilities:

· Utilize hand tools and small power tools to remove burrs and sharp edges on parts.

· Visual Inspection of welds.

· Exercise and promote safe workplace practices.

· Maintain a positive attitude in a highly intense environment.

· Assist in training others when required.

· Work in a team setting to accomplish department goals.

Packaging and skidding products.

Must be able to adapt to changes on the fly.

Read and understand blueprints/ Job orders

Maintain high expectations of quality.

Flexible work hours/ willing to stay late to finish or load orders.

Operate forklift.

· Good verbal and written communication skills.

· Ability to listen, understand, and follow directions.

· The position usually requires you to lift, bend, push, pull & move materials up to 50 pounds or more.

· Prepares orders for shipment by grouping in designated area(s)

· Assists in loading and unloading trucks, as needed

· Maintains a safe and clean work environment.

· Maintains safety regulation and compliance.

Education and Experience:

· Previous experience preferred.

· High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Physical Requirements:

· Prolonged periods standing and walking.

· Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds or more at times.

· Manual dexterity as needed to operate a variety of machinery and equipment.

· Must be able to work in a variety of weather conditions and tolerate exposure to typical noises and smells associated with the plant.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $19.00 per hour
