Job Description
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Initially will lead the establishment and ramp-up of manufacturing at a large, high-volume, cutting-edge automotive manufacturing operation.
- Establish strong team member relations, at all levels and provide support for people development, coaching and mentoring with a focus on teamwork and inclusion
- Collaborate with international team members.
- Running daily reports for KPI management of Quality & Productivity to help improve cost
- Update tracking sheets and following up on the status of upcoming Engineering Changes (EC’s, Tenyo, etc.)
- Update timing and status of Engineering changes within the company unique and the conpany's specific databases and systems
- Supporting Engineering team with the creation of Standard operating procedures for process related equipment, tooling, etc. and submit them into the document control system
- Train TM’s and above as required on change points and standard operations
- Research and procure materials required for production processes as directed by engineering team to support Process change for new model introduction or process improvement activities
- Develop and maintain a database of spare parts and drawings for unique jigs, fixtures, tooling, etc.
- Setup and maintain a database of parts using SAP
- Create or reverse engineer unique parts use CAD or other 3D software as required for production
- Support with installation and initial setup of tools, pick lights and other production process needs
- Ability to work rotating shifts
- Ability to work outside of typical business hours and travel as needed (domestically and internationally
QUALIFICATIONS:
- At least two (2) years’ experience with AutoCAD or other design related software (i.e. Solid Works, CATIA)
- Must be able to demonstrate proficiency with or analyzing technical drawings or specifications or part drawings and manuals / instructions
- Proficient with Microsoft Office applications (Teams, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
- High School Diploma or GED
- PLC Expertise
- Torque Analysis experience
- Vision Systems experience
- Robot experience
- Project Management experience
- Control Logic experience
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Work is normally performed in an office, laboratory, manufacturing floor, or machine shop setting where physical work includes, but is not limited to, sitting, standing, reaching, kneeling, bending, and lifting up to 25 lbs.
- Must be able to understand and comply with all relevant safety practices.

- Location: Huntsville, AL
- Weekly Overtime: As needed
- Weekend Work: As needed
- Travel: As needed
- Assignment Start: ASAP
