About the Position
Our manufacturing company is looking for a Mechanical Assembler to work on our machine assembly line. In this position, you will work closely with other assemblers to connect components and construct our mechanical products. You must be able to read blueprints, know how to use a variety of hand and power tools, and able to stand for extended periods. We prefer candidates who have mechanical assembly experience, but we are willing to train the right person. This position is located in Lexington, KY.
Duties:
- Read the schematics for your valve component
- Assemble your component
- Work with other assemblers to create a final product
- Test and inspect components for uniformity and quality
- Always follow safety standards.
- Other duties as assigned by the supervisor
Qulifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent. Vocational school preferred.
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Familiarity with standard power and hand tools
- Able to read blueprints
- Ability to multitask Ability to multitask

Working Conditions / Physical Requirements
- Climate controlled
- The Assembler must be able to withstand long periods of time standing, bending, and lifting.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
