Job Title: Assembler 3448
Location: Brooklyn Park, MN 55445
Shift: 5:00 AM 3:30 PM
Duration: 2/8/2024 2/6/2025
Pay Range: $15.00 - $20.80 USD/Hour
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred with 1 to 2 years of previous medical device assembly or ISO certified assembly experience.
- In lieu of a high school diploma must have 2 to 3 years of previous medical device assembly or ISO certified assembly experience.
- Must be able to communicate by way of telephone, e mail, or in person to supervisors, leads and team members.
- Must be able to understand verbal and written work instructions.
- Basic mathematical skills as required to perform job duties (add, subtract, multiply, divide).
- Must be able to work in a clean room environment and follow the clean room environment practices and procedures.
- Must be able to perform repetitive work according to set procedures, sequence and pace.
- Knowledge of Good Documentation Practice, Good Manufacturing Practices, and Lean Manufacturing preferred.
- Maintains confidentiality of documents and processes.
- Must have fine motor skills and high degree of dexterity and eye coordination to work with and assemble small parts and subassemblies using both hands.
- Must be able to operate manufacturing and measurement equipment when applicable following appropriate training; not limited to: microscopes, test equipment, EFDs, ultrasonic welders, soldering irons, dial calipers, pressure gages, and rulers.
- Basic MS Windows skills and site specific PC programs as required to perform job duties following training.
Responsibilities:
- Set machine controls, regulating molding temperature, volume of plastic, molding pressure and time.
- Maintain knowledge of plastics and molding procedures.
- Position, align, and secure assembled mold, mold components, and machine accessories onto machine press bed, and attach connecting lines.
- Utilize and understand all applicable subcomponents of the production order packet.
- Follow and document process parameters to ensure repeatable results.
- Process molding parameters to achieve quality parts and optimized cycle times.
- Use troubleshooting skills to improve and develop repeatable molding processes.
- Address unacceptable reject levels.
- Properly handle and care of all materials, molds and tooling.
- Ensure a positive work environment and awareness of company goals and objectives.
- Maintains and promotes a safe and clean working environment.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- ISO certified assembly experience.
- High school diploma or GED
OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
- Must have acceptable attendance record
- Ability to stand for 10 hr. shifts
- Ability to lift up to 40 pounds
- Knowledge of Good Documentation Practice, Good Manufacturing Practices, and Lean Manufacturing preferred.
- Complete and maintain accurate written records of manufacturing operations on production documentation following appropriate training i.e. Device History Records, Data Sheets and Lot Control.
- Maintains a safe work environment by following and practicing good housekeeping and safety guidelinespolicies (e.g. ergonomics, job rotation, stretching exercises, tool handling and preventive maintenance).
- Frequent lifting or moving (between 10 - 40 pounds)
