SUMMARY: The primary responsibility of this position is a production line operator. The candidate must have a safety first mentality, be quality and detail oriented, capable of following direction, making good observations during processing and have experience in repetitive manufacturing environment or a willingness to learn these skills.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following; other duties may be assigned.

· Demonstrate ability to understand and meet performance requirements as per SOP required in your assigned area within the 40mm Payload Production Line:

  • 40mm Line
  • Operate Chopper, Operate Blender. Operate Sieve, Weigh and Mix Payload
  • · Maintain strict adherence to Operational SOP’s
  • · Exhibits outstanding attention to detail
  • · Must meet all production and quality goals
  • · Able to move material in and out of the glove box to reduce potential exposure to air/moisture
  • · Performing the necessary housekeeping to maintain a clean 5s work environment
  • · Learn to identify and wear proper PPE for area of work at all times

SKILLS REQUIREMENTS:

· Safety First Mentality

· Successfully completes safety training & testing specific to 40 MM Powder Processing

· Works well with others in team environment

· Diligent focus on quality

· Keen sense of work ethic focused on quality

· Good Communication skills

· Tenacious, persistent and consistent attention to detail

· Able to use measuring tools: scales, micrometers, and calipers

· Good dexterity to manipulate small components and thin materials

· Ability to lift 40lbs

Requirements:

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and 1-3 years related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.

LANGUAGE SKILLS: Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divides in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.

REASONING ABILITY: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
