Assembler (Ashland, Ma)

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Assemble hydraulic power units.
• Operate hand and power tools, testing fixtures, and measuring devices.
• Visually verify product complies to customer and company specifications.
• Functionally test power unit.
• Responsible for organization of tools and workstation cleanliness.
• Perform other duties as assigned which may include assisting in the development of assembly or test instructions, painting product, packaging product, confirming inventory, etc.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• High school diploma or GED.
• Strong Mechanical Aptitude.
• Ability to read drawings, prints, schematics, diagrams, bills of materials, customer specifications.
• Metal fabrication, welding (MIG and TIG), hydraulic pipe-fitting or hydraulic tube bending all a plus.
• Understanding how fluid power works is beneficial.
