Asphalt Paving Foreman - Southeastern New Mexico and West Texas areas

J & H Services, Inc is seeking an EXPERIENCED ASPHALT PAVING FOREMAN.
We are a family-owned, Heavy Civil Construction Company, doing work in Southeast New Mexico and West Texas for over 20 years.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing asphalt paving projects, including directing crew, equipment, and materials.

Our corporate office is located in Albuquerque, NM. However, jobs are located throughout Southeast New Mexico and West Texas. Your home base is less important than your ability to travel to multiple project locations.
Responsibilities:

• Work with management regarding scheduling, labor, material, and equipment to complete paving projects in a safe and timely manner
• Supervise crew members to ensure safety and efficiency
• Manage equipment needs and usage
• Plan and coordinate material needs
• Adhere to project schedules and budgets
• Ensure company rules and policies are followed

Skills/Qualifications:

• 3 years of experience in Civil Construction with an emphasis on Asphalt Paving
• 2 years experience in Supervising Construction crews
• Willingness and ability to travel
• Must have a valid driver's license with a favorable driving record
• Proficient in reading plans and specifications
• Ability to operate and troubleshoot equipment
• Must have strong written and verbal communication skills
• Must be a self-starter and problem solver
• Must be physically able to perform duties as needed
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol screen
• Must be a multi-tasker and able to handle fast-paced projects
