We are looking for someone to dispense skincare products into containers, apply labels, lids and place products into their final cartons to become finished goods. May be asked to help assist Production technician make products by verifying measurements. Experience in Cosmetics Industry not required. We include on the job training.

Skills: Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs., proficient with basic math skills and be comfortable with basic computer skills.

Starting Pay is negotiable based on experience in manufacturing or kitchen operations.

Job Title: Production Assistant

Job Objective: To ensure correct product dispensing and labeling as well as assist Production Technicians by verifying recipes to achieve accurate measurements and quality products. Assist and help team members with daily tasks of the Production Department. A hairnet and lab jacket will be provided and are required attire. Other PPE may also be provided as necessary.

Tasks:

• Assist Production Technician in verifying ingredients, correct measurements and reviewing completed Batch Record to ensure correct information
• Collect and label samples from each product for Quality Control
• Prepare areas for product dispensing
• Ensure correct containers/lids/labels/cartons are being used
• Set up machines and workstation for best efficient flow
• Apply labels and pack products
• Dispense product into correct container according to appropriate measurement
• Use SweetProcess cloud based software throughout the production cycle
• Use Printer to print batch records and labels
• Use Maestro online label designer to update and create labels
• Move finished product to carton room or warehouse as needed
• Use Microsoft Teams to communicate with all Production Team Members, Production Supervisor, Administrative Team and Inventory/Warehouse Team
• Clean up work stations according to company policy
• Empty dishwasher, wash dishes, take out garbage/recycling
• Work with team members to complete tasks
• Follow company policies, procedures and processes

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $14.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
