Summary/Objective
The Haul Truck Driver position is responsible for operating and maneuvering equipment in a high-volume production area. This position is directly responsible for dumping sand, gravel, dirt, rock and shale and maneuvering in a safe and effective manner. This position requires high attention to detail and constant awareness of its surroundings.
Essential Functions

- Using traffic lanes correctly while operating equipment, follows traffic patterns on site
- Communicate effectively with operators and job site staff to ensure a safe work environment
- Dumping and driving job site materials from one location to another
- Report any non compliant issues or problems to the site Foreman within a timely manner.
- Daily equipment walk around and inspection.
- Following all MSHA requirements daily

Supervisory Responsibility
This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
Work Environment
This job operates outside on a construction and mining job site setting. This role is routinely exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and vibration. The employee is occasionally exposed to a variety of extreme conditions, to include weather. The noise level in the work environment and jobs sites can be loud. This position is on and around large moving vehicles and equipment.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms. Lift up to a minimum of 50 pounds.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position, and hours of work vary depending on the job requirements. You will be expected to work weekends and holidays when required.
Travel
Position is for Woodville, OH but if needs arise, must be willing to travel.
Preferred Education and Experience
- One year of construction industry experience.
- MSHA Certification
