We are seeking a Studio Assistant to join our team at our Art Studio. As a Studio Assistant, you will play a key role in providing exceptional customer service and assisting with various tasks to ensure the smooth operation of the studio. This is a paid position.
Responsibilities:
- Provide excellent customer service by greeting and assisting customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Process point-of-sale transactions accurately and efficiently
- Assist customers with product selection and provide product demonstrations as needed
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the studio, including restocking merchandise and cleaning displays
- Assist with inventory management, including receiving and stocking merchandise
- Support the studio team in achieving sales targets and goals
- Assist with studio events and promotions as required
-Hosting parties
-Prepping for parties, classes, events
-Assisting the studio owner
Skills:
- Proficient in operating a point-of-sale system
- Basic math skills for cash handling and inventory management
- Experience working with children a must
- Ability to conduct product demos to showcase features and benefits
- Ability to work with children of all ages
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with customers
- Familiarity with retail math concepts such as calculating discounts and sales tax
