We are a high end Fine Art Gallery located on Main Street in Park City Utah. Currently seeking individuals who can primarily sell. You would also be required to have managerial skills, team skills, and excellent daily operational skills of regular opening and closing duties.

This position pays at a minimum 65k a year. An hourly base of $20 an hour plus commissions, bonus' etc. At a minimum it is about 65k to give a conservative number, however we are really looking for a person who is motivated to be one of our top consultants and would be interested in making this a career. Our top selling Fine Art Consultants are paid between 150k-225k. Most 2 year Consultants make 100k minumum.

Brief description of other things you would do while not selling are: Inventory management, shipping and receiving logistics as artwork comes and goes, curating art shows, meeting sales expectations while working with a team, excellent proficiency on a Mac which would include Word, Excel, photoshop etc. Proficient at writing for email follow up with prospects etc. The Individuals who are motivated, energetic, and just love people succeed really well here. If you are detail oriented and can multi task you will love this. Its important to note, you must have sales/retail experience. We seem to turn away a lot of prospects who have a background in art, or art degrees due to an idea of what working an art gallery would be like.

This is a high pace, selling environment. Individuals who have background in home design and who understand business relationships who also can connect with people succeed very very well. The artwork we sell is mostly $5,000-$20,000 and includes work that in the 50k to 100k margin. A College degree usually required; however if you are a superstar at sales and management we are more than happy to consider you! Old Towne Gallery owns 4 other galleries on Main Street and you and the other consultants rotate floors weekly. The other locations are Art Elevated, Prospect Gallery, Pando Fine Art, and Park City Fine Art. parkcityfineart is our Instagram page we use and encourage you to look us before applying.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business or related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years of proven sales experience.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must be able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Must be comfortable with technology and have demonstrated proficiency with computers and Microsoft Office programs.
  • Must be self-motivated, organized, and results driven.
  • Excellent communication skills in person and on the phone.
  • Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to work both independently and within a team.
  • Must be available to work 5 days a week, including a Saturday or Sunday each week, and most holidays. Shift time vary but a typical shift is from 11:00am - 7:00pm.

Responsibilities

  • Develop new business opportunities by networking with potential customers and generating sales through foot traffic, outbound calls, emails, and emails via our website and social media accounts.
  • Identify customer needs by researching products and services offered by Old Towne Gallery.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers by providing information about products and services, answering questions, assisting in resolving problems, and following up on referrals.
  • Achieve agreed upon sales targets and outcomes within schedule.
  • Respond promptly to customer calls or inquiries.
