THE OPPORTUNITY
- 7+ years of experience in related advertising and marketing art direction fields at agencies, studios or in-house.
- Hold an undergraduate degree in Graphic Design or comparable area of study.
- Proven track record proactively building strong working relationships with individuals and teams at all levels of the organization.
- Proactivity, clear communicator and problem solver that can anticipate questions, independently assess solutions, and think critically and creatively.
- Are supremely organized and exercise stellar time-management skills.
- Confident and collaborative leader that inspires others to come together on a common goal.
- Demonstrates exceptional initiative, attention to detail, and follow-through executed at a high level of craftsmanship.
- Ability to thrive in a multifaceted, feedback-forward creative environment where tasks, priorities, and projects change rapidly.
- A proven track record of creating and delivering strategic and conceptual solutions applied across a range of brand touchpoints including digital experiences, performance marketing channels, social media content, above the line and more.
- Deep understanding of providing creative oversight to photographers, directors, illustration and motion graphics production vendors.
- Experienced leading pre-production (visual direction presentation and preparation of shot list) and giving on-set direction.
- Has proven experience developing and documenting brand visual guidelines with static and motion elements.
- Has strong typography, color, composition design sensibilities.
- Fluent in the Adobe Creative Suite, including InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, and After Effects.
- Familiar with Product Design software such as Figma.
- Establishing a conceptual and stylistic art direction that takes into account strategic insights, customer needs, and business objectives.
- Design and delivery of global brand identity systems while ensuring compliance with brand standards, timelines and budget requirements.
- Collaborating with strategists, copywriters, designers, partners, and leadership on the design and delivery of strategic creative initiatives.
- Ensuring visual consistency and quality across multiple areas of work by sharing progress, providing thoughtful critique and providing subject matter expertise related to our client’s brand standards.
- Leading work into fresh creative territories by making ideas compelling, relevant, and desirable to our audiences.
- Mentorship and supporting the growth and success of designers on your team.
