Armed Special Police Officer Licensed In Washington Dc

K&T Security is actively seeking highly experienced, licensed Armed Security Guards for our expanding operations in the District of Columbia. We invite individuals who demonstrate dedication to providing exceptional customer service, have a commitment to maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, and hold a current SPO (Special Police Officer) license.

Job Responsibilities:

• Undertake a minimum shift duration of 8 hours hours.
• Provide high-standard customer service and enforce safety guidelines in various settings.
• Monitor access, control entry, and maintain the security of premises.
• Operate surveillance systems and detection devices to prevent incidents and unauthorized access.
• Respond promptly to emergencies, provide necessary assistance, and liaise efficiently with emergency services.
• Write comprehensive daily activity reports and address any irregularities or violations observed.
• Circulate among visitors and employees to maintain order and protect property.
• Adhere to safety protocols by wearing required PPE/safety equipment.
• Must be a licensed driver that meets our insurance thresholds to operate a company vehicle.

Requirements:

• MUST provide proof of a CURRENT SPO license in the District of Columbia, Maryland, or Virginia.
• MUST possess reliable transportation means.
• MUST own appropriate uniform or attire, including black trousers, boots, and a dark suit.
• MUST own an Android or iPhone for accessing designated security websites and apps.

Experience:

• A minimum of 4 years of security guard experience, including knowledge of weapon handling, and strong customer service skills are crucial.
