Armed Security Officer

The Whitestone Group Inc. is an industry leading security company providing services to the U.S. Government with an international presence. The company is currently seeking to hire Armed Security Professionals for a federal contract in Jefferson, Arkansas

• Visitor entrance and exit control
• CCTV Monitoring
• Personnel, Package, and Vehicle Inspections
• Key Control
• Foot Patrol

EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION:

Must meet one of the following requirements

• 3 years of security experience in the past 5 years.
• Military background of 3 years - May include reserves and National Guard
• An Associates degree in related field and 1 year of experience
• Successful completion of a state's certified police officers standard training course
• reasonable combination of the above criteria

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

• At least 21 years of age
• High school diploma or equivalency certificate
• US citizen
• Must have a valid clear driver's license
• Qualified on Firearms per Arkansas code 17-40-101-17-40-353 and the rules of the Arkansas Board of Private Investigators and Private Security Agencies.
• Able to pass a physical exam/drug screen and a federal background investigation.
• Must pass PAT testing including push-ups and running / perform frequent and prolonged periods of walking, standing, sitting, stooping up to 12 hours per day.
• Arkansas Guard License
• Speak and be literate in English to the extent of writing, reading and understanding printed regulations, orders, instructions, etc.
• Have ability to meet and greet general public and maintain poise and self-control under stress.
• Personal appearance must meet military requirements.

Payrate : Base pay per hour $18.74 , additional rate of $4.57 is earned in health and welfare per hour for up to 40 hours per week.
